A list of my favorite anime that I love and recommend!!

here's my top anime list

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

2011

genre(s):

Drama, Fantasy, School

One night, 14-year-old Madoka Kaname has a terrible nightmare - she witnesses a girl fight a losing battle against a dreadful creature, while a cat-like magical creature tells Madoka the only way to change that tragic outcome is for her to make a contract with him and become a magical girl. The next day, the teen's dream seemingly becomes reality as the girl she saw in her dream - Homura - arrives at Mitakihara Middle School as a transfer student, mysteriously warning Madoka to stay just the way she is. Madoka ignores her warning and agrees to become a magical girl, to fight abstract beings called 'witches' that spread despair to the human world, and in return, each one of them will be granted any single wish they desire.

Literally one of my all-time favorite shows

K-On!

2009

genre(s):

Comedy, Moe, Music, School

Yui Hirasawa lives life at a slow pace. Sadly, she takes it so slow that she has no clue what club to join in high school. After being persuaded to join the light music club by its desperate remaining members, Yui finds something to get passionate about: playing her guitar with all of her new friends in a band.

This is actually a really nice and cute show about learning to play music together with friends and the payoff that comes with slow improvement.

Lucky☆Star

2007

genre(s):

Comedy, Slice of Life, Otaku References, School

A class of high school girls do silly random things ig.

If you enjoy silly anime culture and want to relate as an otaku, this show has plenty of references to anime of the early 2000s, it'll be a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Ouran High School Host Club

2006

genre(s):

Comedy, Romance, School

When Haruhi stumbles upon an unused music room in her new school full of rich kids and accidentally breaks a REALLY expensive vase, she becomes indebted to the Host Club (the original owners). To pay back her debt, she herself becomes a host and the school falls for her androgynous beauty.

Princess Jellyfish

2010

genre(s):

Comedy, Romance, Josei, Adult Cast, Crossdressing

Tsukimi is a jellyfish-obsessed otaku with no social skills who really struggles to function in society. One day, a beautiful boy princess helps her save a jellyfish at a pet shop from impending doom. Together, they work towards achieving their goals and dreams...once they find them.
